Over time, there has been some confusion regarding my position on fan-made works using characters I have created, such as Sabrina. I hope this FAQ will clear up as much confusion as possible.

Warning: This text goes into details of sexual and other potentially objectionable natures. If you are easily offended, or are not mature enough to handle such content, please do not read further.

Q1. - I wish to do a fan-artwork or fan-fiction with one or more of your characters. May I?

A1. - Artists or writers wishing to make use of my characters are characters are welcome to do so, though it would be a good idea to request permission first. It is not required, but it is the polite thing to do, especially if you believe there may be possible objectionable content. If you wish to contact me for permission, or if you have any questions regarding content, I can be reached at erics@coax.net .

Q2. - Do you place any restrictions on the use of your characters?

A2. - I basically request that anyone who creates a fan work with my characters respect my wishes and not do anything with them that I would not be willing to draw myself, or portrays my characters in ways that can be considered vastly 'out of character'. I will go into better detail on exactly what this all means later, on a character by character basis.

Q3. - I have a work that goes beyond the borders you've set. What can I do with it?

A3. - Just like I have no power over someone's thoughts, I cannot control what you draw or write for your own private use, nor should I. If you have a work with my character(s) that goes 'out of bounds' regarding my wishes for the characters, my request to you is that you keep it to yourself and maybe your friends through private e-mail or other private communication means. Please do not post such a work in public areas such as websites, art publication sites, or social media outlets. If I find such a work posted publicly, I will request it be removed.

Q4. - Why should I care about any restrictions you've set?

A4. - It's called common courtesy. Besides, I'm willing to do the same for you. Showing respect for an artist's wishes encourages them to keep doing more and hopefully better work for their fans, and return the respect shown them. There are also legal reasons, but I won't go into them unless deemed necessary. Besides, if you don't enjoy a character as it stands, you are more than welcome to create your own original one, and set the standards for it as you see fit.

Q5. - Very well, what restrictions or allowances for content do you place on your characters? Are they different for different characters?

A5. - OK, here goes: I will give a brief description of the character, and what form of content is allowed or restricted for each one. This list is geared toward sexual content - other types may be addressed in future revisions of this FAQ. If a certain level of content is allowed, lesser levels are assumed to be allowed. For example, if it is OK for a character to be depicted fully nude, partially or fully clothed is fine as well.

Amy the Squirrel - Female red squirrel, blond hair.
Amy is intelligent, independent, and very protective of her loved ones
Nudity: Amy may be depicted in the nude, but not explicitly so. No visible nipples or genitalia. Her fur covers those areas on her body.
Sexuality: Amy is married, and any sexual contact should be between her and her husband Thomas Woolfe (created by Michael Higgs). Soft-core only, please. No explicit depictions of genitalia or penetration.

Sabrina Conrad - Female skunk, short white hair, wears glasses.
Sabrina is smart but can be easily embarrassed, enjoys toy collecting and computers.
Nudity: Sabrina is rarely fully unclothed, but may be depicted in the nude, but only 'tastefully' and not explicitly so. No visible nipples or genitalia. Her fur covers those areas on her body.
Sexuality: Sabrina is married with a family. If Sabrina is to be depicted in sexual contact, it should only be with her husband, R.C. The raccoon. No explicit depictions of sex. Any sexual depictions should be downplayed, preferably obscured or 'under the covers'
Note: If you wish to do a public work with Sabrina in the nude or in a sexual situation, please check with me first before posting it.

Richard Conrad (R.C.) - Male gray raccoon, thin.
R.C. is Sabrina's husband, loved his family and enjoys sci-fi, anime, and tech.
Nudity: Rarely seen unclothed. 'Tasteful' nudity is allowed. No exposed genitalia.

Tabitha - Female skunk, white hair with pigtails, Sabrina's much younger sister.
Tabitha is a young child, and acts accordingly.
Nudity: Nudity not allowed, except possibly in a 'cute' context. Anything else could be construed as child pornography.
Sexuality.: None. It would be considered child pornography.
Note: These restrictions apply to Tabitha at the age currently seen in the Sabrina Online Comic strip. Older variations of the character might potentially be handled differently. Contact me for details.

Endora and Warren - Sabrina and Tabitha's skunk parrents, both slightly overweight, Warren appears balding.
Older individuals, Endora can be controlling and prudish, imposing her own values on others. Warren is less like this , but still very protective of his family.
Nudity: Rarely seen unclothed. Nudity is not particularly reccommended.

Timothy Squirrel-Woolfe - Male tan wolf/squirrel hybrid. Toddler.
Timothy is a reasonably well behaved baby.
Nudity: Nudity is not allowed, except possibly in a 'cute' context. Anything else could be construed as child pornography.
Sexuality.: None. It would be considered child pornography.

Zig Zag - Female skunk, black and white tiger-stripes
Zig Zag is a creation of the artist Max Black Rabbit. Please contact him if you wish to make use of his character.

Carli Chinchilla - Female violet-gray chinchilla, short hair and ponytail, glasses.
Carli is funloving and fast-talking, and possessive of her husband Spike.
Nudity: Explicit nudity and visible genitalia are allowed. Her nipples are usually covered by her chest fur.
Sexuality: Carli is married to Spike, so any sexual contact should preferably be with each other. Explicit sexual depictions permitted.

Spike - Male gray wolf, very tall and muscular.
Spike is large and strong, but doesn't talk often, preferring actions to words.
Nudity: Explicit nudity and visible genitalia are allowed. Spike is quite large in all areas.
Sexuality: Spike is married to Carli, so any sexual contact should preferably be with each other. Explicit sexual depictions permitted.

Sheila Vixen - Female red fox, dark red hair, large breasts.
Sheila is straightforward and playful, and not overly bright, but not a complete 'bimbo' either.
Nudity: Explicit nudity and visible genitalia are allowed. Her nipples are covered by fur, but poke out, creating 'bumps' in the fur.
Sexuality: Sheila has a fox boyfriend named Rod, but theirs is an open relationship, and Sheila has been with many partners. She has been with other females but prefers males. Explicit sexual depictions permitted. Pretty much anything goes, though kinks and fetishes such as scat, golden showers, or fantasies of violence and rape are preferably avoided.

Darke Katt - bluish-black cat, yellow eyes, large sharp claws
Darke is hostile to anyone she does not trust. She is a wounded soul.
Nudity: Explicit nudity and visible genitalia are allowed. Her nipples are the same blue-black color as her fur.
Sexuality: Explicit sexual depictions permitted. Kinks/fetishes such as scat, golden showers, rape, or extreme violence should be avoided. Darke's partners often find themselves scratched by her sharp claws.

Stacey Skunk - Female skunk, long white hair, tall and buxom.
Nudity: Explicit nudity and visible nipples and genitalia are allowed.
Sexuality: Stacey is bisexual, and has been with many partners, but her favorite is her girlfriend Tracey. Explicit sexual depictions permitted. Extreme kinks or fetishes such as scat, golden showers, rape or violence fantasies should be avoided.

Tracey Tailor - Female skunk, thin, all black except for white stripe from hair to tail.
Nudity: Explicit nudity and visible nipples and genitalia are allowed.
Sexuality: Tracey is bisexual, and has been with many partners, but her favorite is her girlfriend Stacey. Explicit sexual depictions permitted. Extreme kinks or fetishes such as scat, golden showers, rape or violence fantasies should be avoided.

Helen Dish - Female tan-red fox, reddish-brown hair.
Helen is an older divorced mother, generally reserved, but open to new experiences.
Nudity: Explicit nudity and visible genitalia are allowed. Her nipples are covered by fur, but poke out, creating 'bumps' in the fur.
Sexuality: Explicit sexual depictions permitted. Pretty much anything goes, taking her relative inexperience into account.Kinks and fetishes such as scat, golden showers, or fantasies of violence and rape are preferably avoided.
